PROJECT SPOTLIGHT

A new chapter, within a familiar footprint.

With their daughter off to college, this couple was ready to create the home they had always imagined, with plenty of room to welcome guests.

A different feel overhead

We vaulted the ceiling in the dining and living areas and added a tray ceiling in the kitchen. These changes gave the familiar rooms a new sense of space.

Making everyday tasks easier

A new laundry area brought together ample storage, natural light and a convenient sink—practical details that made better use of the space.

More from the home they already had

The transformation stayed within the home’s existing footprint. For homeowners whose lot leaves little room to expand, Adagio shows how beauty and function can be improved within the space already there.
